    Florin Ramadani, MD, PhD, graduated from the University of Craiova in Craiova, Romania in Dr. Ramadani currently serves as the Head of the Traumatology Department at Klinikum Wels, Grieskirchen in Austria. He is an orthopedist at the American Hospital of Kosova, and a Clinical Professor at the University of Tetova, Macedonia. Dr. Ramadani was also chosen Associate Professor at Gr. T.     Abstract




    This study examines the impact of relationship banking and collateral on the probability of firm loan default in Kosovo. Using a sample of 2, loan-level data from an individual bank credit register, findings indicate that stronger firm-bank relationships reduce the probability of default, and tighter credit policies regarding higher collateral requirements and interest rates have the opposite effect.
