Paul Weston was the stunt and driving double for John Steed from "From Venus with Love" until "Bizarre". Featured in over thirty episodes he played various roles within the series including "All Done with Mirrors" (Thug in lighthouse); "The Forget-Me-Knot" (Peter Peel); "Murdersville" (Second Policeman); "Dead Man's Treasure" (Rally Guest); "Death's Door" (Journalist); "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Station" (Passenger on train) and "Escape in Time" (Josino's double / Tout).
Paul started his ‘Show Business’ career in the Sixty’s as photographic model, but his big break when he was asked to understudy Roger Moore on the The Saint TV series.

Nosher, nicknamed for his enormous appetite, was born in London and began his boxing career as an amateur in the early 1930s. He spent his national service with the Royal Army Medical Corps and served in Egypt. On his discharge, he turned professional, working closely with top promoter Jack Solomans. However, his boxing career was cut short following injuries he sustained in an accident at Covent Garden marknad, where he worked as a porter. His first appearance as a stuntman was in Laurence Olivier's Henry V in 1944. His stunt work and acting were primarily uncredited, but he made notable appearances in the ITV television series The Avengers and Adam Adamant Lives! "With great regret and sadness I have to report that Nosher Powell passed away last evening in his sleep, surrounded by his family.
A legend of a man who had a heart of gold, anyone that was lucky enough to have met him over the years were left with the memory of such an amazing character. Nosher may be gone but he will never be forgotten. RIP my friend."

Nosher Powellwas born in the South of London on August 15, 1928, while his brother Dinny Powellwas born four years later on 27th July 1932. (The brothers eventually become known as the best
