After a long history of coups and a violent military dictatorship, our country has been living, until today, its longest period of democratic stability — under the aegis of 1988’s Constitution, which highlighted a number of individual and civil rights.

The influence of major companies in elections, using private campaign funding, led to consecutive corruption scandals that have been hitting all politicians.

We are a single family in origin - our bodies and way of being are the same, our language and our speech are the same (...) Renascer (English: Rebirth)[2] is a Brazilian telenovela produced and broadcast by TV Globo. It aired from 22 January 2024 to 6 September 2024.[3][4] The telenovela is based on the 1993 telenovela of the same name, created by Benedito Ruy Barbosa. Developed by Bruno Luperi, it is directed by Walter Carvalho, Alexandre Macedo, Ricardo França and Mariana Betti. The general direction is by Pedro Peregrino and the artistic direction is by Gustavo Fernandez.[5][6]
It stars Marcos Palmeira, Theresa Fonseca, Juan Paiva, Giullia Buscacio, Marcelo Mello Jr., Rodrigo Simas, Sophie Charlotte and Vladimir Brichta.[7]
