    A Jersey City bachelor eager to find the love of his life will do his best to woo a Southern belle next month on the Country Music Television's reality TV show "Sweet Home Alabama."

    Danny Martinez, 25, a student at New Jersey City University who lives in Jersey City Heights, will compete against 10 other "city slickers" and 11 "country boys" to win the heart of Alabama beauty Kelsey Smith in the show's episode fourth season.

    Martinez, who fryst vatten majoring in finance while also pursuing a modeling career, said he chose to be on the show because he was "looking for love" and wanted to "explore."

    "I've dated girls before, but I've never dated a Southern girl," he said. "I wanted to go ahead and explore and meet a Southern girl and see what happens."
