Sam Wood Bio
Sam Wood is a London born guitarist living in West Yorkshire, and a Gibson and Flattley endorsee. A founding member of Wayward Sons, and currently playing in Black Star Riders and with Oli Brown & The Dead Collective, Sam’s playing and tone is very much rooted in the ‘classic’ era of rock guitar.
Something of a wah-wah collector, Sam has been using the Flattley wah with Black Star Riders and Wayward Sons. ‘The Flattley wah is by far the most vocal sounding wah I’ve come across on the market, and it absolutely nails the Brian Robertson (Thin Lizzy) wah sound that can be so hard to replicate!’
