Like so many, I went through an addiction to Star Trek, the original series, (hence referred to as 'TOS' for "The Original Series" as the franchise has so many spin-offs). Our FB group started to identify a few TOS guest stars in a string of unrelated reviews that I had posted. It was surprising, looking at Forums and other sites, how many former, highly attractive, TOS female actresses there were and I was suggested to document ones that may have had roles in DVDBeaver reviewed films. I started to research and the links were piling up. I've detailed a portion here, in alphabetical order so as not to discriminate, but as I know how deeply layered Trekkie fans can be - I'm certain that I don't have them all to everyone's personal tastes. I'm aware that there are a Vulcan, Klingon and Romulan female character worthy but absent. Please don't email me wi

You look at them, you want to look away. And the episode&#;s whole story is pretty much the crew members trying to dodge the things, which jerk thru the air at tight angles and in straight lines, making for a pervasive anti-plausibility. &#;Operation: Annihilate!&#; is a stinker like that one where the guest had a dreadful beard and the trippy optic effects were so painful.  Looking at the screen becomes a mug&#;s game, and as a result I&#;m still not sure what happened in this episode except that it involved the things that made me want to look away: in this case, rubber pancakes of dog vomit that fly.

The vomit pancakes were designed by Wah Chang, who is spoken of highly by Inside Star Trek. I can&#;t sign on there. The pancakes, the Gorn (&#;Arena&#;), the yeti (&#;Galileo VII&#;), the yeti-plus-spines-plus-horn-plus-tail (Mogotu, I think&#;it was in &#;A Private Little War&#;): put them all together and you&#;ve got &#;oy.&#; I admit that the pa

  • BBC1 is my first stop for Star Trek and The Lights of Zetar. It’s a series three episode, which is the cue for disappointment for some (although I’ve never found the later episodes to be that bad). And since this fryst vatten the only one co-written by Shari (Lamb Chop) Lewis, it’s worth a look for that reason alone. According to Genome, it was previously broadcast in and , so Zetar fans have had quite a wait to see it again.

Today’s Coronation Street fryst vatten slightly ahead of my current rewatch, but inom think I’ll dip in to see what’s going on (possible romance for Fred, according to the Daily spegel blurb).

Undoubted highlight of the day is Yes Minister on BBC2 at pm. The final episode of series two, A Question of Loyalty fryst vatten as skarp today (if not more) than it’s ever been.

If there’s time, I might catch the repeat of The Sweeney over on ITV. Ranald Graham’s Nightmare is the episode getting another airing today.

How do you follow The City on the Edge of Forever?
