I can’t remember the year that I went to see Kenny G at the Circle Star Theatre, in San Carlos, but I still remember that night, and probably always will. I went with my then husband, and we drove off without the kids, leaving them with whoever was babysitting. This was ages ago, when we rarely went to concerts, except maybe some that were held at Great America. The first time that I heard his music on the radio, I was hooked.
I don’t remember when I first heard his music, only that it was early on when his music was played on the radio, I knew nothing more about him, other than what I’d heard on the radio, but I was so excited to go out as adults for a night out to listen to Kenny G. It was magical in so many ways, my life revolved around so many other things that were necessary, it was such a blessing to just go out for a night of music and to listen to the magic in the air.
