Emily Lodato was born on May 1st 1989 in Tampa, Florida. Being of Lebanese and Puerto Rican decent, Emily grew up diversely. Coming from a musical background where both grandparents were musically inclined, Emily grew up studying music. At age 10, she started participating in local talents shows and showcasing her talents in the church choir. She then went to study at a performing arts academy and by age 13 she began writing music for the academy's musical productions. After high school she decided to move to Miami to pursue music as a full time effort. While in Miami she worked writing w/ A-list producers and then decided to study the arts of acting and attended The South Florida Acting Academy. While attending the academy she shot commercial and print work. In the midst of it all, she was still writing music for local artists and receiving placements.
