Naseeb Abdul Juma Issack, professionally known as Diamond Platnumz, is a Tanzanianbongo flava recording artist, dancer, philanthropist and businessman. He is the founder and CEO of WCB Wasafi Record Label, Wasafi Bet and Wasafi Media. Diamond has gained a massive following in East and Central Africa.[2] He became the first Africa-based artist to reach 900 million views on YouTube.[3]
After signing a record deal with Universal Music in 2017, Platnumz released his third studio album, A Boy from Tandale (2018).
In 2021, Diamond together with his record label WCB Wasafi[4] entered into a 360 Partnership with Warner Music Group.[5][6]

Early Life
Diamond, before becoming the highest selling artist in East Africa was born in Tandale, Dar es Salaam. His official name is Naseeb (Nasibu) Abdul Juma. He attended primary school in Tandale Magharibi from where he got his first leaving certificate. He then got his Senior School Certificate in 2016.

Career
Diamond started showing interest in music in primary 5. His mother realized he liked music and she bought him a lot of albums for him to listen to. Diamond used this to imitate other artists and singing to his schoolmates.
After school, family didn’t think music was the right venture for Diamond but his mother supported him fully. She constantly and tirelessly took him to talent shows would get called and noticed while at it.

Naseeb Abdul Juma (born 2 October 1989), popularly known by his stage name Diamond Platnumz, is a Tanzanianbongo flava recording artist and dancer from Tanzania. He has had several hit songs including "Number One" which he featured Nigerian artist Davido. Diamond won numerous awards at Channel O and the HiPipo Music Awards. He performed at the Big Brother Africa 7 eviction show in May 2012.[2] Diamond is considered influential among his fans, and is said to be the most loved and decorated East and Central African artist at the moment.[3] He is believed to be the highest selling Tanzanian artist of ringtones by mobile phone companies in 2013, as well as being among the artists earning the highest income in the African Great Lakes
