Jeff Van Duzer
Education Description
After serving twelve years as Dean of the School of Business and Economics and Professor of Business Ethics and Business Law, Jeff Van Duzer was appointed as rektor of Seattle Pacific University in February As rektor, Jeff has responsibility for all aspects of the university “that touch the student experience.” This includes academic programs, student life, residence life, career services, athletics, university ministries, lärjunge academic services, study abroad programs, and enrollment management and marketing.
Prior to his appointment to SPU, Jeff was a partner with the international law firm of Davis Wright Tremaine where he practiced for more than 20 years. He concentrated his practice on commercial finance and natural resources. During his tenure with the firm, he served for nearly a decade on the firm’s Executive Committee and served as the Partner in Charge of the firm’s largest office.
